Northern Heights American Enterprise Project

Northern Heights Chapter of FBLA has been working on the American Enterprise Project since the beginning of the year. There project was to start a middle level chapter for North Lyon County. This is a combined project of the three grade schools. We began the project by President Jessica Dhority and Vice-President Justin Richardson visiting the three schools to discuss the possibility of starting a chapter. The interest was overwhelming. We had over 15 interest forms returned. We then had a parent/student meeting to organize and have election of officers.
In December members of the Northern Heights chapter began traveling to the grade schools to work with all middle level students on the practices of American Enterprise. We have covered topics including career exploration, communication (letter writing and formatting), presentation skills, advertising, and the American Enterprise System. High school students helping with the teaching process are Taylor Boucher, DJ Bronson, Alex Larson, Arissa Moyer, Justin Richardson, Jessica Dhority, and Jasmine King.
