Dear Parent(s),
The character trait for February is Self-Discipline Controlling of one’s own thoughts and behavior. Before you do it, ask yourself…is it necessary? Is it kind? Is it right? The color of the month is pink.

The day will open with Mrs. Johnson and Mr. Crawford leading the students in Kansas songs. Mrs. Douglas will help students with candle making. Mrs. Newman will be making butter and cream with the students. Mr. Biggs will be reenacting the Civil War. Charlene Osmond will be demonstrating spinning and carding wool. Dr. Azwell will demonstrate the loom and telling stories and Mrs. Voorhees will be helping the students create a school quilt.
