Northern Heights High School Recognizes Students of the Month

Again this year, Northern Heights High School recognizes student achievement and character by presenting The Students of the Month Awards. The faculty and staff vote monthly on this prestigious award based on positive character traits and the students in each class with the most votes are honored with a color photo, a $5.00 Sonic gift card from Student Council, and a poster with their pictures and names proudly displayed in the high school lobby. Winners during the 2009-2010 school year include:

SEPTEMBER: Kacey DeWeese, Mark Hanks, Cody Wood, Elizabeth Smith

OCTOBER: Taylor Heins, Melissa Coats, Nathan Stinson, Sean Edwards

NOVEMBER: Tanner Boucher, Kimberly Smith, Taylor Harmon, Casey Cole

DECEMBER: Slaytor Parks, Cort Huffman, Shannon Sprigler, Ethan Grother

JANUARY: Natasha VanGundy, Arissa Moyer, Chelsea Carr, Joel Young

FEBRUARY: Brittney Houck, Hanna Robinson, Jennifer Karr, Daniel Parks

MARCH: Tyler Gragg, Moriah Miner, Katelyn Zornes, Nick Jenkins

APRIL: Joshua Duft, Hailey Anstey, Ashley Raulerson, Alex Gadino

I have enjoyed sponsoring the Students of the Month this year. Congratulations to all of these fine students. They truly demonstrate why Northern Heights is such a great high school.
