This morning prior to school, a medical emergency occurred in close proximity to North Lyon County Elementary school off of school property. NLC staff responded to provide medical assistance to an individual adult. No NLC students or staff members were in any danger. Our thoughts are with the individual and their family. Thank you.

Results from the FHL wrestling tournament in Chase Co. Individual Medalists: Freshman, Cole Gerleman, 3rd place (113 lb.) Sophomore, Leo DeDonder, LEAGUE CHAMPION (126 lb.) Junior, Logan Schlimme, LEAGUE CHAMPION (150 lb.) With additional help from Tripp Stormont, Gus Phillips, Cameron Hagemann, & Tyler Robinson the team finished in 5th place. Congratulations and good luck next weekend at Regionals!

Northern Heights basketball at Madison will begin at 5:00 PM with full JV boys & half JV girls. Varsity girls will play immediately following the JV girls game (they will not wait until 6PM) then varsity boys. Below is the bracket for the JV boys at Lyndon on Saturday, 2/3/23. Yesterday, NLC held their honor roll assemblies for students in grades 3-5 and 6-8. The assembly recognized students for their academic achievements on the Superintendent, Principal, and Counselor honor rolls during the 2nd nine weeks!

NHHS FCCLA was honored to host District H STAR events in Emporia. Students worked hard to make sure that everything was set up, running smoothly and torn down at the end. They judged, competed, acted as runners, and participated in the voting delegate sessions. These kids did an amazing job!
