NLC would like to thank our community for coming out and supporting our boys and girls today at the LCL tournament. Girls won their game to finish fifth. Boys lost a hard fought game to take second place. We are so proud of our student athletes and coaches for a great season.
Final scores of the NHHS vs Lebo games! The wildcats pushed through and played their best despite the outcomes. The next games are January 20th at Olpe.

We are excited to welcome our student teachers to NLC Elementary this semester! Ms. Tubach will be working in 2nd grade with Mrs. Hamlin, Ms. Ferris in Kindergarten with Ms. Harrison, Ms. Farnsworth in 2nd grade with Mrs. Hanks, and Ms. Rodriguez-Gil in 5th grade with Mrs. Nightingale. We are grateful to have them join our school community and look forward to a great semester of learning and collaboration together!

Final day of LCL JH tournament is this Saturday. Girls play for 5th place at 11am, boys play in the championship game at noon. Let's pack the stands on Saturday and cheer on our wildcats- they have had great seasons this year and would love to end it with a win!
NLC is having their 2nd Quarter Honor Roll Celebration tomorrow afternoon. We invite all parents and families to join. Grades 3-5 will be held from 2:30-3:00p.m.. Grades 6-8th will be from 3:00-3:30p.m. We will be recognizing 131 students tomorrow for their academic success. Counselor's honor roll are those students with a GPA of 3.0-3.66 (41 students). Principal's honor roll GPA is 3.67-3.99. (26 students) Superintendent's honor roll is 4.0 (64 students). Students must have all grades C or above to qualify. This means 92% of our students in Grades 3-8 will be recognized. We are sure proud of our students!
This year’s Winter Ball venue will be at River View Event in Reading. Beginning at 8:00 PM February 14th. No transportation will be provided to this location.

Here are the final scores for the NHHS cats against the Madison bulldogs. The next basketball game will be hosted by heights against Lebo this Friday.

We are excited to welcome Grace Higgins to the NLC Elementary staff! Grace student taught at NLC last semester, and we are thrilled that she officially joined our team as the 6-8 science teacher when we returned from winter break. We’re so glad to have her with us!
