Please remind your child to sign up in the office. When all students on the list are on the bus, it will depart NLC. Thank you everyone and looking forward to a great fall season.

This morning, Northern Heights staff welcomed our students back in style- music playing, high-fives, smiles at the door, and a warm greeting from our staff. During assembly, we introduced our “starting line-up”, bringing the same excitement and energy we hope to see all year long.

Welcome NLC fall coaches,athletes, and parents as our season begins on Monday, August 18th. Introducing our fall coaches: Football: Cameron Heiman and Corbyn Jackson Volleyball: Adriane Lang and Caleigh Smart Cross Country: Jann Briggs Cheerleading: Dakota Nightingale Aug 18-19: Practice times at NLC are 3:45-5:15pm. Transportation will have one shuttle running from NHHS to NLC leaving NHHS at 3:20pm. This shuttle will leave NLC at 5:20pm to NHHS to drop off students. Aug. 20 and beyond: Practice times at NLC will be 3:30-5:15pm. Transportation will run a shuttle with drop offs at various locations. These will be posted in the coming days. Cheer practice will be set up soon, as not to interfere with dual sport athletes. Please join us for our fall parent/athlete meeting on August 19th at 5:30pm in the NLC join, just before our school open house. GO WILDCATS!

USD 251 Welcomes Staff Back for Annual Back-to-School Inservice
USD 251 officially welcomed back all staff yesterday with the annual "Back-to-School Inservice." In addition to essential training and professional development, the day featured delicious food and the celebration of several service awards honoring staff dedication and milestones. It was a great kickoff to the new school year!
A highlight of the event was honoring John Price for 35 years of service to the district. He received a standing ovation from all staff—a well-deserved recognition for his incredible dedication and impact over the years!
5 years: Venessa Anderson, Bob Blair, Kristy Ciero, Carla Crane, Jefferson Holmes, and Stacie Horton.
10 years: Lea Hamlin, Adriane Lang, and Jacob Lang.
20 years: Aimee Landgren and Mark Robinson.

Reminder: All athletes MUST have a completed physical on file to participate in practice.

We will only provide a shuttle to and from each building for parent pick up on both of these days.
BEFORE PRACTICE!
The bus will depart NLC at 2:50 pm to transport athletes to NHHS.
The bus will depart NHHS at 3:20 pm to transport athletes to NLC.
AFTER PRACTICE!
The bus will depart NLC at 5:20 pm to transport athletes to NHHS.
The bus will depart NHHS at 5:40 pm to transport athletes to NLC.

Our Kindergarten and 6th grade students had a great time at NLC orientation today! They enjoyed meeting their teachers, getting to know new classmates, and exploring their school. Here's to a fantastic start to the year!
