USD 251 BOARD MEETING TIME CHANGE!
A few board meetings ago the board voted to change the meeting start time. Going forward, the board of education will meet at 6 p.m. unless otherwise posted! Addisen Petersen broke the NLC Jr. High girls long jump record today at the Flinthills Jr. High League track meet. She had become the record holder earlier in the season. She set the newest record with a jump of 15'1" today.
The 8th girls 4 x 200 relay team brought home the Flinthills Junior High league gold medal and bested the school record they set earlier in the season. The new record is 2:02.92. Congratulations ladies!
BACCALAUREATE SERVICES for NHHS Class of 2024!
The public is invited to attend the Baccaluareate Services on Wednesday, May 15, 2024 at 7 p.m. in the Gym at NHHS. The event is sponsored by all North Lyon County Churches!
With the end of the school year being so busy, USD 251 has decided to wait until August to host our Free Physical Clinic. Date & time will be announced as soon as we know.
The NHHS Trap Team is in its 3rd year and has started the spring season with their biggest group of shooters yet. They will have a couple more weeks of competitive shooting leading up to the state competition in June.
Due the weather forecast, NLC track practice is canceled and NHHS track and baseball practices will end at 4:30 pm.
Order of events for the League track meet at Council Grove on Tuesday, May 7th. Start time at 10:30 with field events. Let's go NLC!
Due to the threat of severe weather, the Freshman/Sophomore track meet at ESU has been canceled. It will not be made up.
Firecat tryouts have been postponed. The new date/time will be announced later.

Northern Heights has just learned that Lyndon is unable to play baseball tonight. Our games have been canceled and will not be rescheduled.
Our first KSHSSA Regional game will be at 5:00 PM Wednesday, May 8th. The locations is TBD.
