Good Luck to the Northern Heights basketball teams!!!


Congratulations to the Northern Heights Scholars Bowl team who finished in Second place this evening at the Council Grove meet. Team members include Oliver Sheeley, Liam Wilson, Jonathan Marcotte and Jacob Merrill.


Mrs. Richmond and Mr. Blair's Physical Science classes are working on their Rube Goldberg projects this week. They are engaged in building devices to demonstrate an understanding of simple machines and physics concepts. They will be presenting their projects on Monday, December 18th.











Preston, Cooper, and Leo are working hard to collect shoes! We're still accepting donations, so please send shoes to NHHS or contact one of the boys for a pick up!


2024-25 ENROLLMENT INFORMATION!


The Preschool was taking advantage of this nice weather today!






Under the direction of Mr. Reist, the 6th-12th grade bands and choirs put us in the holiday spirt with sounds of the season. The performances were enjoyed by all in attendance.

Students are doing amazing things throughout the communities. This past weekend we had a group of students help work the spaghetti dinner in Admire. Also this week we had three students show up and help at the Americus Methodist Church.




7th graders are working on primary and secondary sources. Students are completing a photo analysis activity by studying the photo for 2 minutes. Lastly, students divide the photo into four quadrants to see what new details become visible.

$5 per person (Students K – adult); no passes accepted.


NLC Basketball will play at NHHS today. Games will start at 4:30 p.m. It was brought to our attention that this was incorrect on our online calendar. Come out to support our Wildcats!

These boys will be waiting for about 15 more minutes! Drop offs of bikes and shoes welcome!


Preston, Cooper, and Leo will be at Peter Pan from 9 AM to 11 AM tomorrow, December 2nd, to collect bike and shoe donations. Please feel free to come by! Bring bikes, shoes, hot cocoa, anything!

Girls won 29-23 and the Boys won 34-30!










Congratulations to the NHHS Scholars Bowl team for winning the Lyndon meet this evening. The team finished in first place with a record of 6 and 1. Members from left to right include Brylee McCullough, Liam Wilson, Tagen Hoffer, Oliver Sheeley, and Jonathan Marcotte.


Preston, Leo, and Cooper will be hosting one more bike and shoe drive, Saturday
December 2nd from 9 to 11 AM at Peter Pan Park. Please bring out any bikes or shoes you are no longer using!

The junior high girls basketball team pulled ahead of the visiting Lyndon Vikings late in the fourth quarter. The Wildcats held the lead for a great victory.





The members of Northern Heights HOSA (Health Occupations Students of America), are currently hosting a fundraiser to offset the cost of competition fees, travel expenses, and essential supplies. They have teamed up with a laundry detergent supplier, and are offering high-quality products at unbeatable prices.
