Each year, Newman Regional Health works with USD 251 and other area schools to provide free physical clinics for students. This year, they are trying something a little different.
Instead of hosting individual clinics at each school, NRH will be offering a consolidated clinic for all Lyon County League schools, held at ESU. We understand this is a change from what our families are used to, but this new format will include multiple providers on-site, helping the process move quickly and efficiently for everyone.
We appreciate your flexibility as we try this new approach and look forward to continuing to provide this great opportunity for our students.

We have chosen this Thursday, April 23, as “Purple Up! For Military Kids” Day in USD 251. We encourage all students and staff to wear purple as a visible show of support and appreciation for the strength, resilience, and sacrifices of military-connected youth in our schools.
Why purple? Purple is the color that symbolizes all branches of the military, as it is a combination of Army green, Coast Guard blue, Air Force blue, Marine red, and Navy blue. Across the nation, people are being encouraged to show support for our military and veteran children and to thank them for their strength and sacrifices.

Congratulations to the NHHS Distance Medley Relay Team (DMR) at the KC Relays on Saturday. They placed 6th and set the new school record with a time of 13:25.22
