NLC boys and girls basketball teams will play an additional game at NHHS on Monday, January 5th, beginning at 5:00p.m. We will playing Flinthills Christian (Manhattan). We hope everyone can join us and cheer on our wildcats!
For tomorrow nights NLC jv boys game- it will start closer to 5:30pm. There is only a half game for jv girls at 5, jv boys will begin soon after that.

This week at NLC:
NLC is helping with the NHHS food drive running through Dec.16. Items needed are pasta, pasta sauce, cereal, and canned fruit. Please no ramen. There will be a drop box outside our front office. Thank you for donating.

2025 Civic Advocacy Network Awards of Excellence - Congratulations to Northern Heights High School for being honored as a 2025 School of Excellence by the Civic Advocacy Network(CAN)for the exemplary civic engagement opportunities they provide to students. This is a prestigious award that only an average of 9 schools per year are awarded. KSDE established the Civic Advocacy Network to recognize and award schools that actively involve students in civic engagement learning and real-world opportunities. Schools are scored based on instruction and discussion of government, history, and law courses offered, as well as programs implemented to give students the chance to engage in civic duties such as community service and school governance roles. We are proud of our students and their dedication to making a difference and striving for excellence in service and learning!
North Lyon County Schools came together last night at NLC for the annual Meet the Wildcats event. The NHHS boys and girls basketball teams helped the youth team scrimmage, autographed team pictures, and helped distribute small basketballs, t-shirts, and other prizes. The NHHS cheerleaders greeted everyone at the door, led cheers, and gave out prizes. A huge thank you to all of the organizers, groups and individuals that sponsored the event!

We had a wonderful turnout today for our ELC/NLC Thanksgiving Dinner! A huge thank you to our amazing cooks, staff, and STUCO members who helped make the event run smoothly. The food was absolutely delicious, and it was great to see so many families together!
