USD 251 North Lyon County has an opening for the position of Assistant Cook at NLC Elementary School. This is a full time, 6-8 hours daily, 9 month, Monday - Friday position with benefits. Salary schedule placement will be determined by experience.

USD 251 North Lyon County is accepting applications for the position of a High School ELA Teacher. USD 251 is a 2A school with a PK-8 enrollment of 225 students, and a 9-12 enrollment of 115 students. NLC Elementary and NLC Early Learning Center are located in Americus, KS, just 7 miles north of Emporia. Northern Heights High School is located about 1 mile east of Allen, KS.
USD 251 is a 1:1 K-12 Chromebook district with many textbook and digital resources provided.
USD 251 also has open coaching positions that would be available if interested.

Ellei McCroy is the 1A KSHSAA State Champion in the 3200. With a time of 10:59, she was just 2 seconds shy of breaking the current record set in 1983.

It's been busy the last few days at the NLC Early Learning Center! We celebrated preschool graduation and a fun day of water activities. They are now ready to start summer vacation!
