NLC Staff and Students enjoyed thanking our maintenance director, Jamie Yingst, and custodians, Connie Dobbs and Sarah Pangburn with a celebratory walk to recognize their hard work and dedication during Custodian Appreciation Day!!!
Introducing your 2025 Northern Heights High School Homecoming King and Queen Candidates. Join us for the crowning on October 10th at 6:30 PM at Northern Heights.
Since learning that some USD 251 patrons are having mail delivery issues with the facilities survey, we have placed additional QR codes in several locations in our communities. Also, paper surveys can be picked up in Americus at the district office, Allen at the high school, and Reading at the cafe. Completed surveys can be dropped off at the district office, NLC, NHHS, and the bank in Reading. The survey will be open until October 10th. Thank you for providing valuable feedback to our school district.
It's game day for NLC! We are playing in Hartford. Volleyball begins at 5:00pm, football begins at 6:30pm.
NLC cross country is ready to run in Council Grove today at Canning Creek campgrounds. First race begins at 4:00pm.

A big thank you goes out to Shane Tiffany for allowing access to the field and to Kelton Bish for his help with pant identification.
Biology learned how to sample various populations of organisms using quadrats.

Parents and 8th grade athletes will meet at 5:55pm tonight on the west end of the NLC football field for our recognition of our 8th grade fall athletes. We are so excited to celebrate their accomplishments. If volleyball isn't finished we will take a short break from their game.
Great turnout at NLC Elementary. FCA students help leading groups of all different ages praying for a safe and fun school year. We wish for hope and peace to the parents, teachers, and students this school year.
