Home wrestling meets are hosted at Council Grove High School - see district calendar for additional information. Senior night is January 22nd against Topeka Hayden @ 5:30 PM. Wrestlers will be recognized before wrestling begins.

USD 251 bus driver John Price was surprised when he dropped his students off at Northern Heights High School this morning. Happy 80th Birthday John! You are truly appreciated by North Lyon County.

Tomorrow night, Thursday, Nov 6, NLC is having a parent meeting with all basketball players and parents. This will begin at NLC at 6:00p.m. Girls team will meet in the gym, boys team will meet in the cafeteria. Team contracts, rules, and schedules will be reviewed and handed out at this meeting. Hope to see everyone there!

NLC would like to give a HUGE THANK YOU to Lance Morris (NHHS boys BB coach) and Holman Distribution Center (Emporia) for wonderful donations to our students. This included clothing, school supplies, jackets, hand sanitizer, etc. Thank you for your generousity, NLC is so very grateful!

ELC and NLC students and staff enjoyed the Halloween parade and classroom parties yesterday. Thank you to the families of students who joined us and to the community partners who supported the students by providing treats.

Due to an accident, Highway 56 between NHHS and Admire is currently closed. The high school can be accessed by taking Road L to Highway 56. Road 330 can be taken to get to Road L.
Please allow extra travel time and use caution in the area.

And that's a wrap- The Northern Heights seniors walk off the field for the last time with 52-6 win over West Elk.

NLC will have a basketball meeting for all parents and players on Thursday, November 6, from 6:00-6:30 pm. We would like all parents and players to attend. Coaches will go over team contracts and rules, along with handing out calendars of practices and games. Hope to see everyone there.

Saturday, November 1st, is the KSHSAA State Cross Country meet at Wamego Country Club: 1900 Country Club Dr.

2A boys race at 11:10 AM, and 2A girls at 12:55 PM.
